Money laundering and Terrorist Financing are recognised as serious threats to the integrity of the financial industry in Canada. As a money services business, Money Days is dedicated to compliance with its obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) and its supporting Regulations. We have developed and implemented a compliance program in accordance with the regulatory requirements of client identification, record keeping, and reporting to FINTRAC.

Money Days has designed and implemented policies and procedures to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activities and transactions. Our client service representatives verify and document the identity of every client and our compliance department maintains detailed records of all transactions. Furthermore, our compliance department conducts periodic reviews of our policies and procedures and provides ongoing compliance training to all management and staff as directed by legislation.

Money Days is legally obligated to collect client information during a transaction. Any personal information provided is used only for client identification purposes in order to process the transaction. Personal information will not be used or disclosed for any purposes other than those set out by regulations. Our staff is trained to exercise the utmost care and discretion when handling client information to ensure compliance with privacy legislation as well.
